Kasher, Menahem
(1895-1983)
   American rabbi and halakhist. He was born in Warsaw. In 1925 he went to Palestine, and founded the yeshivah Sefat Emet in Jerusalem. From 1939 he lived in the US. His Torah Shelemah is an encyclopaedia of the Talmud and midrash, in which all relevant material in the oral law is collected according to the scrip-tural verse to which it applies.
